Maghnus Z, arrived May 17th, 2007. Maghnus is a variation of the Latin word meaning "great" and this guy sure is! He is out of 3/4 Arabian Mare, The Sweet Rose and is by US, Canadian and Brazillian National Champion Stallion, *Magnum Chall HVP, by Magnum Psyche. At just a few hours, he showed great strength and size coupled with a very handsome face and beautiful legs. He is a compilation of some of the best blood in the breed- the immortal *Bask and *Sanacht through maternal gandsire Amurath Baikal; *Padron though paternal grandsire, two time US National Champion Magnum Psyche.
Jr. is now a huge 15+ hand two year old. He maintains great promise in the halter ring and should be a fantastic performance horse as well. He is gentle and kind, but has presence and fire for the show ring as well- just like his dam.
Maghnus's 3/4 sister is only a 3 year old and is already an 8 time Regional/East Coast Champion or Reserve Champion. He is following in her footsteps with 2 Region 15 Reserve Championships as just a 2 year old in both open and AAOTH. If you like the thrill of the win, this is the horse for you!
