The Sweet Rose is an exotic 3/4 Arabian 1996 daughter of Amurath Baikal. She is a tall mare standing at 15.2 hands and is extremely athletic, currently trained in country pleasure and show hack, she also shows potential in costume. The mare is extremely level headed, and while posessing enough snort and blow in the show ring to turn all the heads, she is docile enough to be a lesson horse, trail horse and to cart around the children of friends and family.

Sweetie is a multi-champion in halter, and so far has never been less than first place for us- even pregnant and nursing with a foal at her side. Her sire, Amurath Baikal is a Reserve National Champion in halter, and is the blending of two of the breed's most influential horses, *Bask and *Sanacht.

On Sweetie's dam side is Multi Regional Champion National Show Horse mare, Comin Up Roses. Sweetie's full sister, Sweet Pea is also a National Top Ten, Regional Top V, and East Coast Champion winner in halter. Her 3/4 sister, Peppermint Paddy RF is a regional champion in both open and AAOTH at only 2 years of age!

The Sweet Rose is taking a bit of a break from the strenuous show scene and is semi-retiring to the task of motherhood. She produced an amazing filly on May 13th 2006, Magnifiq Z, by three-time National Top Ten Stallion Magneeto WLF. Magneeto is a stunning son of Magnum Psyche who has won honors at Nationals, Scottsdale, Multiple Regionals and futurities. Magnifiq Z was the 2007 Region 15 Reserve Champion Half Arabian Yearling Sweepstakes filly. Sweetie out did herself again on May 17th, 2007 with a stunning colt by Multi US, Canadian and Brazilian national champion stallion *Magnum Chall HVP. Maghnus Z is offered for sale. In 2008, she produced another amazing colt by Magneeto. Maglorix Z has already been sold, and is possibly her best foal yet- which is saying a lot!! Sweetie will be bred to Magnum Psyche in 2009 for a 2010 foal- if it is a filly, we are considering retaining her for our future programs.
